Our Story.

We’re the most committed dance school in Huntingdonshire.

Miss Megan has been training for 18 years in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, and physical education for adults and children. Graduating from Chichester University with a degree in Contemporary dance, and having qualified as an ISTD professional dance teacher; Miss Megan provides quality dance education with the nurturing environment that helps all her students thrive.

What we offer

We provide the best range of opportunities

Group Dance Classes

The best way to build dance friendships, learn the arts and grow with our school. Our classes start from age 4 and build up to age 18. The ISTD exam syllabus is followed from primary grade to intermediate.

Private Tuition

Private classes are available to all dancers. The extra tuition can help dancers build up their confidence and ability at a faster rate than is possible through group classes.

Yearly Examinations

Each year our students are given the opportunity to enter for their ISTD examinations. Our Pass rate is 100% with 61% achieving a distinction and 39% achieving a merit.

Quarterly Performance Opportunities

We believe that confidence is built through stretching students with regular performance opportunities. We try to ensure there are performances every three months.

Parent Watching-Weeks Every Term

We want our parents to see their child's progress inside the classroom - we therefore offer a termly 'Watching Week' for everyone to enjoy.

Quarterly 'Fun-Week'

Child development is at its peak when children are having fun. In these sessions we prioritise socialisation, fun, personalities and enjoy being part of this dance community.

Styles of Dance.

We provide a complete range of dance styles for all dancers.

All children develop differently and may excel in different areas of dance. We're proud to offer 6 core dance styles; with 2 optional enhancement classes aimed at specific elements of dance form.

Ballet

The foundation of many dance forms; building strength, technique & discipline. Ages 4 and above.

Modern

This style is known for it's theatrical qualities. Includes energetic movements, jumps, travelling steps & turns. Ages 4 and above.

Jazz

A class focussed on stylised performance, pop-music and fun choreography. Ages 6 and above.

Contemporary

A style that incorporates aspects of other genres with a focus on the expression of emotion. Ages 6 and above.

Musical Theatre

This is a fun filled class where singing, acting and a variety of dance styles come together. Ages 5 and above.

Lyrical

Lyrical utilises core techniques from Jazz, Ballet and Modern as a basis for movement. Ages 5 and above.

Pre-School Classes

This class introduces the beginning aspects of dance while focussing on the bond between parent and child. Parent and child from 18 months to 4 years.
